About Crevia — Franco Decker

Architecture-trained photographer crafting images for print, editorial and brands.

About Crevia and me: I trained as an architect — which taught me to read space through light, material and proportion. Today I use that eye for photography, editing and visual storytelling: architecture & landscape series, portraits, fashion and personal work.

I’ve worked across Europe, with extensive experience in Ukraine and Liguria/Italy. In Kyiv I produced professional fashion shoots and created a marketing concept for a U.S. corporation — including presentation visuals, city footage and drone recordings. Earlier in my studies, alongside design, I focused on architectural photography and produced photo essays for a respected architecture magazine.

Crevia is my studio and ongoing journey. I work on location — often on alpine routes and exposed terrain, where few people go. Many of my landscape photographs are genuine one-of-a-kind pieces. In post-production I refine intent rather than chase effects: color, drawing, calm. When it serves the idea, I also craft looks physically on set — with smoke, wind, mirrors or glass — and then finish them digitally for large, high-quality prints.

I photograph for magazines, brands, architects and private clients, and I also professionally enhance client images — from print-ready finishing to careful portrait retouching. I design clean, performant WordPress sites when a project needs a coherent visual home.

Beyond assignments, Crevia also continues to produce independent projects — from mountain routes to urban spaces — reflecting a consistent search for timeless imagery.
